Partial Level Densities for Nuclear Data Calculations
نویسندگان
چکیده
The main formalisms of partial level densities (PLD) used in preequilibrium nuclear reaction models, based on the equidistant spacing model (ESM), are considered. A collection of FORTRAN77 functions for PLD calculation by using 14 formalisms for the related partial-state densities is provided and 28 sample cases (73 versions) are described. The results are given in graphic form too. Composite (recommended) formulas, which include the optional use of various corrections, i.e. the advanced pairing and shell correction in addition to the Pauli effect, and average energy-dependent single-particle level densities for the excited particles and holes, are also given. The formalism comprises the density of particle-hole bound states, and the effects of an exact correction for the Pauli-exclusion principle are considered. PACS: 21.10.Ma, 21.10.Pc, 24.60.-k

STUDY OF NUCLEAR LEVEL DENSITY AND SPIN CUT-OFF FACTORS
Nuclear level densities and spin cut-off factors have been deduced for nuclei in the mass region 24‹A‹63,from a microscopic theory, which includes nuclear pairing interaction. Single particle levels for both Seeger and Nilsson potentials were used in the calcdations. Level densities extracted from the theory are compared with their conesponding experimental values, It is found that the overall...
متن کاملDiscrete Levels Density and Spin Cut off Parameters of the 36Cl, 40K, 60Co and 61Ni Nucleuses
On the bases of Bethe and the constant temperature models, the level density parameters have been calculated for the 36Cl, 40K, 60Co and 61Ni nuclei, nucleuses through fitting the complete level schemes in low excitation energy levels. Both calculations reproduce experimental level densities equally well. Th...
متن کاملO ct 1 99 9 Particle - Number Reprojection in the Shell Model Monte Carlo Method : Application to Nuclear Level Densities
We introduce a particle-number reprojection method in the shell model Monte Carlo that enables the calculation of observables for a series of nuclei using a Monte Carlo sampling for a single nucleus. The method is used to calculate nuclear level densities in the complete (pf + g9/2)-shell using a good-sign Hamiltonian. Level densities of odd-A and odd-odd nuclei are reliably extracted despite a...

We present calculations of nuclear level densities that are based upon the detailed microphysics of the interacting shell model yet are also computationally tractable. To do this, we combine in a novel fashion several previously disparate ideas from statistical spectroscopy, namely partitioning of the model space into subspaces, analytic calculations of moments up to fourth order directly from ...
متن کاملTransition densities in 30Si studied by electron scattering and coupled-channel calculations of 650 MeV proton scattering.
R. Alarcon Nuclear Physics Laboratory and Department ofPhysics, University ofIllinois, Champaign, Illinois 61820 (Received 8 October 1987) Proton and neutron transition densities in ' Si are examined by a combination of intermediate energy (e,e') and (p,p') reactions and mirror electromagnetic transition rates. This analysis is performed for the 2+i and 22 states at 2.234 and 3.499 MeV in Si. E...
